Pastor Kevin White
Lead Pastor
Pastor Kevin is a native of England and grew up between the English Lake District and the Scottish Borders. His parents, Rosemary and Graham White and his Sister, Brother-in-Law and two nieces and several extended family members live in England.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying and Facilities Management from the University of the West of England. Pastor Kevin’s church background was Anglican Church of England where he was a Patrol Leader in a local Boy Scout Troop and for many years served as an altar attendant. He is currently a Licensed Minister in the Wesleyan Church and is presently enrolled in F.L.A.M.E. (Fellowship of Leaders Acquiring Ministerial Education), one of the ministerial training and equipping programs run by the Wesleyan Church.
Pastor Kevin first came to the United States as a residential camp counselor and spent two summers working in that capacity at a United Methodist summer camp in Middleburg, Virginia. He moved permanently to the United States in 1996. He is married to Cora, a native of Southern California and they have three girls – Allesandra, Caitlin and Gabrielle.
Kevin enjoys fishing, hunting and enjoying God’s amazing creation.
Pastor Kevin fully committed his life to Christ and later accepted God’s call to the ministry while he and Cora were attending a United Methodist church in Waldorf, Maryland. After he and Cora moved to New Life Wesleyan Church in La Plata, Maryland and became covenant members of New Life, they both served in various active ministry roles including Youth ministries and Women’s ministries respectively. Prior to accepting God’s call to Pastor Grace Wesleyan Church in Millington, Maryland both Kevin and Cora were on the leadership team of a newly planted second campus location where Kevin served as Assistant Pastor. |
